WritersBox for School.
Screenwriting and film production, built for the classroom. Courses, briefs, hand ins and marking around a real screenplay editor.

How a class runs
From the brief to the mark.
-
1
The brief
Teachers set an assignment with a brief, a rubric and a due date. It lands on every student’s calendar at once.
-
2
The work
Students start the script, treatment, beat sheet or bible straight from the brief, in the format the course asks for.
-
3
The hand in
One press hands in a PDF set to the brief’s own rules: Courier 12, the right spacing, the right file name.
-
4
The marks
Notes on the page and a mark for each rubric line. Assistants draft, and the teacher releases.
The page
A real screenplay editor.
The page students write on, set the way the industry sets it.

In class
Built for how film is taught.
-
Table reads
A student puts a script on the table. The teacher hosts, passes the pen and takes it back. Notes go on lines and on whole pages.
-
Feedback rounds
Peer coverage in pairs the teacher can pick by hand, with every piece visible where it is marked.
-
The production office
Crew groups break the script down and plan the shoot: shots, days and the paperwork a set runs on.
No AI. Ever.
There is no AI in WritersBox for School, and there never will be. Every word a student hands in is their own.
